The LR1 Thermal Pro Upgrade adds LWIR thermal imaging to the LR1 Payload on Astro and Astro Max platforms. Built around the FLIR Boson 640R sensor, this user-installable module mounts directly to the LR1 and plugs into its expansion port for power and data — no separate payload swap required. Operators switch between the LR1’s RGB camera and thermal view live, from a single flight.
