FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Test Prep
Phase 1 - October 26-27, 2023 / December 14-15, 2023
- $1,000 total course cost per student
- LIVE online training provided by qualified instructor
- Two days back-to-back (16 Hours)
- 10:00am to 6:00pm ET on both days
- Online training will cover Part 107 Regulations, Aviation Weather, National Airspace System, Preflight Considerations and In-Flight Operations
- Pilot responsibility and authority during normal, abnormal and emergency flight operations will be discussed in detail to prepare individual for the written exam
- Registered students will receive the Remote Pilot Study Guide seven (7) days prior to the course start date
- Registered students will be provided with five (5) FREE online practice exams included with Remote Pilot Study Guide
UAS Mapping & 3D Modeling
Phase 2 - (October 30, 2023 / November 16, 2023 / December 18, 2023)
- $1,000 total course cost per student
- LIVE online training provided by qualified instructor
- One day (8 Hours)
- 10:00am to 6:00pm ET
- Online training will introduce students to the DroneDeploy photogrammetry software and cover the four (4) phases of mapping and modeling; Planning, Execution, Data Processing and Data Analysis
- Best practices for autonomous flight will be discussed with an emphasis on developing the ability to improvise adapt and overcome the challenges that exist flying commercially
- Registered students will be provided with access to picture data set that was collected in real time to process during the LIVE course
UAS Program & Fleet Management
Phase 3 - November 2, 2023 / November 17, 2023 / December 21, 2023
- $1,000 total course cost per student
- LIVE online training provided by qualified instructor
- One day (8 Hours)
- 10:00am to 6:00pm ET
- Online training will provide students with the advanced knowledge to manage advanced UAS flight operations to include the management of pilots
- Registered students will also learn best practices for developing and managing processes associated with the safe and efficient maintenance and upkeep of Unmanned Aerial Systems
- Registered students will learn the advanced features of FAADroneZone.faa.gov and the appropriate way to write and submit waivers to the Part 107 regulations
UAS Hands-On Flight Training
Phase 4 - November 9, 2023 / December 1, 2023 / December 15, 2023
- $1,000 total course cost per student
- In-person training provided by qualified instructor
- One day (8 hours) in Holly Springs, NC
- 10:00am to 6:00pm ET
- In-person training will provide students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to safely and efficiently operate Unmanned Aerial Vehicles within the National Airspace System
- Registered students will be taught the basic fundamentals to safe drone flight
- Registered students will learn advanced flight maneuvers to include how to respond to abnormal and emergency situations (GPS Loss, Ground Control Station Failure, Air Traffic Avoidance and more)
